mrdew- I havent been on here long but I have been reading ALOT. What I dont want to happen is those of you that have the knowledge and experience in this field to completely shut down because of the unwillingness for people to put some time and effort into this business. I have never dismanteled a window AC. I've been told not to mess with them because of the
freon inside (brother-in-law). But there is copper in them. One of these days I'll get the courage to tear one apart.
Finding all that free info is great, isn't it? But until you find it just leave the
a/c's alone. Otherwise you'll shoot your eye out.
