    We did around 460 ac units+refrigerators last year and break them down. We remove our own Freon. I do know in the opinion of the EPA if you are dismantling it for the purpous business IE selling the parts for scrap then if you dont properly recover the freon you can be subject to 10,000 fine and or jail. Something to think about when you look at that 15-20.00 of material. It only takes one nosey neighbor to make a phone call.
