    electric motors

Hey everyone, first time poster and part time scrapper. Well I got about six motors that weigh about 25 lbs each. I took one apart and came up with a figure just slightly above what I'd get if I just sold it whole, which is .20 cents a pound. Is this pretty common? I think ill just take them in whole and save some trouble. I also have a hard time with some copper plates that I take in from the foil stamping industry. The yard will only give me copper 2 even though I tell them its solid copper and there is nothing else on it.......hell, I think I should get bright price. What make something not bright? These dies are shiny. Thanks in advance.
