    Dish Network Satellite LNBF

This may be obvious to all of the experienced scrappers, but I figured I'd throw it out there in case it helps anyone. I scrapped a Dish Network satellite a few weeks ago, and I popped the box off of the front first. This is what it looked like:

I finally got around to opening it up today, and it's pretty much all aluminum. In fact, there was 1lb 7oz of alum (mostly cast) inside. The only other things inside were steel screws and a circuit board (not sure if it has any value).

Anyhow, I figured that I should let everyone know to remove the box before scrapping the dish as shred.

This one I did looked to be platinum to me, kinda odd color for gold and definitely not copper. Unless it is a white gold. See the gold finger beside it, it's board #3.

The board I got definitely looked different than #3. I'll try to snap a pic of it tomorrow.

I realise this is an older post that has been recently brought back but I thought I would post some pics of a few boards I found in a dual LNB recently with just under 2lbs of Aluminum.
