What would these boards be? Motherboards?

Last week I picked up what I thought was a VCR - it was nighttime and I couldn't really tell. Today I am taking it apart and it looks like a computer system - Vtel Galaxy. But it has these longer boards that I don't know what they would be classified as. The regular motherboard is still in the unit as you can see. this thing has lots of eproms(??) on the boards and there are two of the longer boards. there are also more than one chip - the one I'm holding came off one of the longer boards and there looks to be two more on the MB in the unit.

Those are older finger boards. Look at the ends, it might have a video connector, possibly a network connector. They're known as full length. I'd google the name and numbers off of them, they could be much more valuable on Ebay

You could also ask on Vintage Computer Forum, somebody there might not only tell you just what it is, but want it ; )

Good suggestion. Some older ISA cards are sought after, those look like PCI slots.

What are the labels on the big chips on the board? Was there a small cable connecting both boards on top? They might be video editing cards, more information would help (better pictures). Actually even PCI boards can be popular to collectors depending on what they are.

By labels do you mean whats written on the chips or paper labels? There was a flat ribbon cable that went across the tops of the two longer boards and one smaller one that was in between them.

I am almost positive you have a couple of very old server hot swappable SCSI ultrawide controllers on you hands.
AKA old hard drive controllers. Ebayable not likely, just to old. They should be #1 motherboard grade though.

In lieu of static free bags, I've used regular kitchen paper towels, a couple of wraps and you should be ok
