Mine was 85 results in .32 seconds, so sounds like PinkFloyd has computer and/or internet problems.

the other thing is you need to just GET THE F ONE WITH IT....they answer 4 out of 50 questions because if you sent ME 50 questions, I would tell you to pound sand. Sometimes you just have to put it in the box and sell it. If you miss a buck or 2 here and there...what are you going to do?? You shipped it out and got WAY better prices than local I am betting, so you didn't "lose" something you didn't already have. If you spend all your time sorting this or that to make $1-2 more...you are just losing money because you lost ALL that time that you could be getting more stuff....

Sometimes, you just ship it out and collect your money. BESIDES, if you indeed shipping gaylords, you should have ALREADY called them and negotiated a higher price. If I send Ewatsed a GAYLORD of motherboards (say 700-1000pounds), then I will get a better price than 30 pounds worth...that is the way it works. But really TRYING TO SORT EVERY SWINGING board into some imaginary maximum category ends up wasting more time than is generally is worth.

Ask a couple of questions and get on with it. I have been in sales for 20 years and most of the time, we have to get down to business...not rewrite the book on whatever you are trying to buy...if you do that, I move on to the next guy. That is the way it works. There is only so many hours in a day I am willing to put in....

And as far as not being able to FIND good info on here...that is silly. Maybe just READING ALL the posts (might take you a few hours) wold benefit you FAR more. Then if you have a question.....google it...it is out there. Then you get to ask. But dude...just get on with it...stop wasting your time and theirs...the old saying, nickle holding up a dollar. I get my stuff, sort reasonably and send it out the door. I get my money faster and then I can flip it again....speed is king when you can make 30-50% or FAR more if reselling (which I do).
PROFIT is made when you BUY/ACQUIRE NOT when you sell

Its more of a chain of emails of a few questions that just stops...yes I could continue to sell my stuff uneducated and loose a few bucks a week over the course of the next ten years ya ya of course...do I want to, no. If I ship this out I end up empty handed for a while, it does not come in the way you think so I am making to most of it until the stream opens up for me. I have the time.

EXACTLY what you said "a chain of emails..."...they just do not have the time to do that...not if THEY want to make money. You have to ask a COUPLE questions and there you go. They are not going to tell you what exact pile every board will end up. Sometimes you have to "guess" based on what you already know. It is not an exact science...some of the SAME type of boards vary GREATLY in terms of what materials are on there. You just have to take the knowledge as you accumulate, ship off, see what THEY think once it is in front of them and modify accordingly. Again, worrying over a few cents a pound is the nickle holding up a dollar thing I mentioned...if I got that money a week sooner I would have already bought more stuff, flipped it or got it ready to send again by the time you got all the answers back. I am not saying just WING IT, but sometimes you have to just trust your instincts and then see what happens.

Again, faster is better for ROI 99% of the time...if the $$$ are in the ballpark. I have made a living in sales for over 20 years. Sometimes just moving inventory is the answer....even if I have to give a bit.

All I was trying to do, like other on here was to tell you that people do not have time for endless questions back and forth...they just don't. Their business depends on speed and they will put in X amount of hours a week to make those $$$, so they will just skip your email the next time if they know that is what they are getting. Just some advice. Read the forum, READ ewasted thread and other buyers as they many times answer questions (ie ALL monitor boards that have flash gold plating are the same for instance...All brown boards are pretty much the same), google it, and then sell it and move on to the next thing. Ewaste is one of those experience things, I have done computers ALL my life, so I knew a TON and ramped up quickly....but I still had and have to just send some stuff on and not REALLY know what it will get classified. AND THAT DOESN'T WORRY ME IN THE LEAST...off it goes and the $$ I get buys the high end electronics I resell to make the REAL money.

    Good luck.

^ For anyone wondering eWasted categorized logic boards as same as "Finger Board Trimmed/Devalued AND Cable TV / Satellite TV / Printer / Modem and Floppy boards"

    Apple G5 processors...P3 slot CPU?

^ For anyone wondering eWasted categorized Apple G5 CPUs as Telecom

Laptop wifi cards...with PCI finger boards or gold tip memory?

^ For anyone wondering eWasted categorized these as Telecom

I really am not sure what this is but assuming because of the density of the ICs it may be higher then brown board??

^ For anyone wondering eWasted categorized this is most likely low grade Telecom (There is an off chance it is graded as peripheral if there are no gold pins on there)
Just thought I would update my mess with what I have found so it is still somewhat useful.

They are. Their thin sheets of silver sandwiched between mica and then dipped in epoxy for stability.

Makes sence since their only silver plated on the ends under the epoxy, and yeah the film capacitors aren't worth anything.

I did read extensively about components and if there is no "dip" in the middle of the coating chances are they do not have silver, but with the dip on the top and bottom you know there is a larger yield of silver on the sides. Nothing I will mess with unless I see some large ones

This seems to be a good place for me to run my mouth with questions rather than start new threads so here are some more!

Is anyone scrapping these electronic cigarette cartridges? Stainless bucket?

Anyone find a market for optical laser heads? I have a ton of them from CD/DVD drives:

What about these boards from internet modems? The density seems high, too high to go with cable and satellite TV box board...low grade telecom?

Sony Playstation boards / game consoles? The density again seems high and they are a 'computer entertainment system' would these go with motherboards (of some sort) ?
