    gold gold need help

    can someone please tell me how much these are worth per pound? i have quite a few of these...thanks

    The best way to determine the value is to use a plating calculator like this: Gold Plating Calculator

    The hard part is finding the thickness of the plating, which is why we need to know what they came from. Talk to Etack, he is really good with this type of info. I think the Gold refining forum also has a list of applications and the typical plating thicknesses that are used. I would not recommend posting anything or asking them any questions, just search for the info.

    rule of thumb on 30 micron plating

    30 micron thickness.40 sq inches = 1 gram but you better know what your doing to get it. best sell it to a buyer the process is complicated and very dangerous.

    Thats not true it is 105 sq in to 1 gram at 30 micro in thick plating.
