What do you guys do with cable cards not like the ones from directv but like local cable provider cards it seems almost like a wireless card from an old laptop?

I don't know exactly what your talking about. Can you post a pic. of the card? Do they look like the satelite receiver cards with the little gold square on the back.
My imgur isn't working right now for some reason but here's a link f google images http://pcwizardsrus.com/content/imag...ecard_300.jpeg
i have good luck with those on ebay..i have sold several untested for 10 dollars each pluss the buyer pays shipping...like anything else some of them do not sell..i have them put up and i have not tried to scrap any yet
Thank you for the link. I have gotten them before and I smack them on the edge with a small hammer and take the aluminum cover of and put them in with ether mid grade or high grade (I forgot) but they do have nice little boards in them.
I've also had good luck with these. Some of the have some good gold content in them.

It looks almost just like the linksys wireless card for a laptop. I have a few of these from newer style cable boxes I'll probably put them all in one lot on eBay and hope for the best. Shame we can't use them as random to the cable companies!
I have a apple card like this and had no clue what it was. I have just been putting it to the side till I find out what it was and what to do with it. Thanks for the answers
