    Grade - Motorola VRM600 Modem

I have a lot of Motorola VRM600 police vehicle modems that i've been sitting on for about 2 years. I'm new to scrapping and need help with the board grades. I have these listed on eBay but they're pretty much too old to be sellable. I started breaking them down and have gotten out of each unit 2.5# of aluminum (the case), 15 oz of boards, some tin and some steel and screws. I would post pics, but I can't yet, but they seen to be high grade with long pins. I can try to message if anybody can take a look. Thanks in advance.

Has anyone scrapped these before? I can't find too much info on scrapping them.

I can't help you with the VRM600 but if you go to the "intro" section of the forum you will get another post which will get you closer to the number required to post photos. Also if you read through some of the other posts and find something to comment on it will get you closer too being able to post photos.

Why are the photos so important? Many who are selling their ewaste will be familiar with similar boards. If you just give the model number of the devise then its difficult to be helpful unless someone has direct knowledge of that particular item. Best of luck. Mike

I tore some Motorola police modems like these down a year or so ago. I believe I got 4 boards out of each. The main board I got high grade. Their was a red board that I got mid-grade for, a green one was also midgrade. The 4th board I kept as there was 2 gold ic chips and a small gold square on it. I know without pics it may not help that much, but maybe it will.

Here are 3 of the boards. I believe they came out of the receiving or sending unit which weighed 30lbs.
