Windowed processor and board grading

I personally have never been downgraded, BUT YMMV. I typically ONLY pull the black/yellow tantalum ones and MAYBE if I see a few large MLCC's (I just keep those and will send them in one day for the platinum...by themselves they are only worth $4/lb LOL). Other than that, I do not pull anything else and they always have been fine. I do not pull IC chips unless they are socketed...ROI just isn't enough and it WILL get you downgraded if you cut all those off.



Always fun to squeeze a bit more out of one when the time to do it makes sense.
