laptop wifi cards

As far as the small 1x1-1x2" wifi/bluetooth cards that come out of laptops, how are these typically graded? I've looked around and couldn't find much on them. Also there's 2 main styles. The type that snaps in like ram and the type with a socket somewhere in the middle of the board. Would the ram style be considered a finger board even though the fingers are tiny and the others go in the peripheral pile? Or would these both be lumped in a different category?

I scrapped about 8 laptops last week and just left the wifi cards attached.
You would need to find a buyer and contact them and send pics to find out what you would get.

I used the search feature with no results, as I don't know there value, I'll ask here (hope that's OK mike 1286). I have been collecting the LAN PC cards, I'm not sure if they are used with laptops and notebooks. Mine all came out desktop towers. My question, is there any resale value and what is the scrap value? I have one on my desk right now measures 2" x 1 1/2", looks like the case on this one is SS, I have never taken one apart, but assume there is small circuit board of value? Anyone scrap or sell these?

The LAN PC card on my desk, actually did come out of a laptop, this type plugs into the side of laptop, with these cards you can have local computers networked with a wired connection. There is also wireless-LAN cards as well.

This is the actual type I have on my desk right now.

Would you remove the metal case to scrap these or scrap as is?

In the past, I've been told for CFCS that the whole thing can be tossed in with finger cards. Things change, so double check.

cfcs told me finger cards two years ago on the laptop wifi cards. last time I visited though, he was taking them as rambus.

Thank you guys, that's what I needed to know, I have a couple dozen, i'm going to take the metal case off. If they have Au fingers I'll put them with my finger boards but in a clear bag, just to keep them separated. No fingers, then still will bag them but with mid grade boards.

Everyday I'm learning more about the E-waste process, I started processing swap meet waste two weeks ago, tons of cardboard, lots of CRV and more E-waste than I ever thought I would be doing, it's all money if you work it!
