That is a motherboard for a slot processor
Cut the gold fingers and still a motherboard.
little yellow boxes are Tantalum...pull that as well.
PROFIT is made when you BUY/ACQUIRE NOT when you sell
indeed, I think we have the best answer here, without goldfingers that still a motherboard
This buyer has lots of pictures to guide you.i have NEVER been able to actually tell which are the tantalum chips/parts

yes those are the easy ones to identify...basically all those yellow mustard colored ones (they typically have a reddish stripe on one of the ends) are tantalum. You will see these on most motherboards and higher end boards. I pull them off ALL of mine. Mechanic gave you the right advice...that buyer has a TON of pic to help. Some of the other types are much harder to identify, but these are always easy to see.
And yes, you got GREAT advice...slot processor motherboard grade daughter board, cut the finger and sell as a the older grade slot motherboard.
it takes awhile to add up...I just keep a large plastic jar container and do them quickly with a chisel when I sort boards. It ends up being a "rainy" day bonus money kinda of thing every so often. Also look at the thread they suggested..there are a TON of black boxes with a grey stripe and a + on it...those are also tantalum (easily identified). The other more expensive tantalum take a bit more practice to find and generally are not on boards like these. Again, that thread will help you a TON.
Good luck and happy to give you another little $$$ source!!
