Could use one right now. Too bad the only adult beverages in the house are hard stuff or premixed pina colada.

For me, from now on its all about volume- used to ship boxes Fed Ex sometimes 6 at a time from CT using CFFS Fed Ex account to ship cost me about 24.00 a box at 65 lbs if I drop at Fed Ex. That got old fast and business picked up so now I ship 2 pallets at a time of about 1600++ lbs for the pair using CFCS for shipping quotes it costs me up to 120.00 for the 2 in total, sometimes less. As far as I have seen if you can save up a pallet load it seems to me to be the most economical solution.
Of course thats from my commercial warehouse and I have a forklift to put it on the truck now.
I have not needed liftgate service - does anyone know how much more that usually is... Gorvan ? Just in case the forklift craps out - she is a tired old mule

I've seen liftgate service run 50-100. Or, nothing if the driver is nice

Yes there are many scrappers on the site here that ship to Ewasted from quite a bit further away than you are. If you are serious about making some money on boards; get with the program, do some reading here, get a good scale and a place to start stacking a standard 40x48 pallet. It's not hard to put 1500lb of sorted material on one, shrink wrap it and then use the resources you can find on this site to have it picked up or a close terminal to drop it off. You're going to be impressed on how cheap it is to ship and you can do much better in the cash return department as well.

C'mon now RLS ... It's less than 240 miles. I am right on Lake Ontario between Buffalo and Rochester and it is 240 miles for me to get to eWasted's place.

You have been given the answer over and over. I guess you just can't see it? Open an account, start a shipment, request pickup. FedEx will come to your door and your shipping will be cheap.

Between this thread and the shipping thread I have seen more buyers names mentioned than any others I can remember plus a lot of info about shipping boxes and pallets.

I hope the OP of this thread has learned something even if no one else has.

mthomasdev , I am shipping from Danbury 06810. I have a commercial location and have a forklift available which helps lower the cost a bit. I use the CFCS shipping option. Also 2 pallets at a time is more economical than one. I am shooting for 3 or 4 on my next load
so hopefully there will be increased savings by economy of scale.
RynaW - If that cost is true for my area it would cut into my bottom line too much so I am glad that the ol mule ( forklift) keeps running !

Kelvin- definitely. I bought a cheap big Joe stacker just for this purpose.

I'll have to look into that option again. I've got about 15 pallets (not all boxed up yet) that will be going out to ohio (possibly split between 2 buyers).
