I did it.
If you go to your link, select one of the photos and left click on it, it becomes a singe photo. On the right there is a section "share this photo".
Go to the "IMG" and left click it. It will momentarily show "copied".
Return to the
scrap metal forum quick reply box and right click and then hit the "paste". You've transferred the photo just like I did above.
On id'ing your items, which are great, Check with a couple of the buyers threads to see if you have any direct matches.
Note: This next section really does not apply to members not in the US(or Canada for the Canadian buyers)
When you are ready to sell choose one or more of our regular buyers who have current feed back on their threads. Send them photos of items you are uncertain of and get a price. It doesn't hurt to include the approximate weight of a particular item. As in: "I have about 240lbs of this item."
As you can imagine giving a price for a single board that weighs 4oz will be different than 240lbs of it. If I only have a couple of something then I put them in a box of similar items to assist the sorting process my buyer has to do.
You have some great stuff so keep building up your inventory and keep reading the old threads until you feel confident.
I forgot you are in England so I guess others who have access to our fantastic buyers will be able to benefit from my advise.
So just for you, keep in contact with the other scrapers from Great Britain and find out who they are selling to. I recommend face to face transactions where you get paid on the spot unless you feel good about the buyer. If you go with shipping to your buyer I highly recommend you start with small shipments. 73, Mike
