    Are these the same value?

Usually I just combine these as I don't get many. This time though I'm getting a bunch of squares. Is there a difference in value?

Forgot its a pain to post pics. I'm comparing centipede IC chips (rectangle pins) and the square with each side of pins.

I've always put them together when sending to buyers on here.... $8/lb I think currently.... If anything I would think the square ones might be worth less as they have metal on 4 sides instead of 2, and could have a higher metal to precious metal ratio.. I just put them together. The big buyers on here would know better if they weigh in

Yea, some ARE CPUs depending on what they come from. They are also usually on motherboards as integrated GPUs too.... Don't think they are worth any more though. Interested for others to weigh in

I experimented with breaking down the boards buy it didn't seem worthwhile to for different reasons. Time vs. reward, job hazards, and so on.

Tend to think of the square flatpacks as being one thing. The square IC's that sit in a socket and pop out another. Similar ones that are soldered to the board yet another. Some things that functioned as early processors yet another. More modern processors that are directly soldered to the board something else. Then you've got the rectangular IC's.

There might be some money in sorting them all out if you have a buyer for the different varieties.

The thing is that it takes a lot of those little buggers to make a pound. Sometimes you can get too fussy with a thing ?
