E boards, now Im really confused.

I made a video on this I think...let me recheck on that.

But here is a good rule of thumb to follow.

If it comes out of a server then its server grade.

PCI cards are counted as server (for me) other buyers may want you to box them up by them self.

desktop motherboards are well just desktop motherboards they are not worth as much as server boards or pci cards

back plains that come out of servers are worth more than servers (in some cases) due to the amount of gold they have. I will have to take some photos and explain this better.

and low grade will be from power supplies and crt..they will not look like a desktop motherboard.

p.s desktop motherboard is what you would call medium grade server/pci being called high grade.

Some have them for memory, and some have them for hard drives. I don't know if they all fall in the same category for ecycling or not.

^^ he is right. I will have to get some time to take some photos to better explain this...hard to explain ones that are worth more than others with out photos.

Should gather all (or most) of the different types of boards, and put a sticky note on them to signify what they came from and what grade they fall in.

I have lived in Texas all my life. Both my mother and father are new yorkers, So was raised as a new yorker but grew up in texas.

That's funny. That's how my family is too. I was born and raised in Texas, but my parents and grandparents so forth grew up on Long Island. We're Italians, too.

Yes and no. If you have a large amount of them and or of other server boards box them up separate from the desktop motherboards and I will pay you a little more but you will need to have around 300# of server grade an it can be worth as much as 30 to 70cents more than desktop motherboards. But...this is getting into dealer pricing.

Reason why I have dealer and non-dealer pricing. With non dealer pricing..you just slap the stuff into a box and send it. We will grade it and send payment right away. Dealer pricing you have to more weight before sending..YOU have to grade it (we will over look it to make sure its good) so everything has to be boxed up separate to get paid more per pound on the scrap.

Dealer pricing can be a pain..so its not worth the trouble unless you have weight and will be shipping by pallets.

I think I've discovered a way to atleast sort high grade boards from low grade boards... (I'm sure I'm not the first to notice this)...Please correct me if I'm wrong.

High grade boards are quite a bit more difficult to snap in half with your hands
Low grade boards are "brittle" and snap in half very easily.

I was wondering why the flat screen TV boards were so difficult to snap in half...So I tried some boards from a recent PC and they too had the same difficulty.

But a board from a CRT snapped in half very easily.

hmm..don't know if that be true or not...this is how I try to explain it.

If the board looks like a LARGE city with alot of things going on...it could be high grade
if it looks like the country side with really large things and alot of open ground everywhere...its low grade.
