Computer parts Breakdown and identification

i was wondering if anyone was familiar with 5 pin solid state protectors. i have a garbage can full of used one and 4/5 of the pins/plugs are gold. i opened one up and the gold plug runs through the entire body of the plastic portion. so if anyone has any information regarding scrapping one of these id appreciate. oh yea I'm new here. first post. whoop.whoop.
