You missed a lot of potential traffic by not having utilized the title more effectively. I believe there are like 56 spaces available in the title, which alone is responsible for most of your traffic to the ad. They should be used to the max, and include every possible keyword defining your item. The name, number, and brand of the machine, as well as anything else that will fit there, including specifics for the CD/DVD drive, and any other known components such as internal parts, video etc, could have helped put your ad into more searchers results ; )

You still have time on this posting. Can you still edit the title? It might be worth a try. Good Luck!

I am pretty sure you cannot edit anything once there are bids. I think there are a few things you can do, like add pictures.

I will say from experience that Macbook Pros depending on condition, do yield great prices, even as scrap units!

Nice score!! Worse case, you can always offer a second chance to the next highest bidder. Most of the time they will take the offer.

All my listing specify 3 days and after that I open a case with Ebay, that way I either get get my fee's back or the buyer pays up. If I get my fee's back I just relist. You don't have to wait a week to open an "unpaid case". It's in a drop-down menu where the "print shipping label" and other things are to the right of the sold item. Says 'Report a Problem".

Did you sent the buyer an invoice? Might nudge their memory. Some people do forget that they bid on something a week ago.

I sent an invoice after the auction ended.

I did not put specifics about being paid in the listing, so i will make it a point from now on.

But contact has been made with the buyer so i will update you if they follow through or not.

Here's how I do mine on every listing; Don't know if it means much but it makes me feel better.

"Payment must be received within 3 Days of Auction Close or Buy It Now purchase.

All of our items are sold As-Is unless stated otherwise. There is no implied warranty. If an item is not as described, please let us know and we will be glad to work something out. I try for fast service and good quality while handling your order. Feedback will be given as soon as it is received.
You will receive the Item Pictured.

What type of box do you use to ship the laptop? I am looking for an inexpensive alternative to $10 boxes I have seen advertised. Mike.

Try to end your items on Saturdays before 11 AM I have a sell rate of 78% just buy doing this. Gives people time to watch the last minutes. Plus They get busy after that time on the weekends. Most are to busy during the week to watch items when they close. Been selling little things for a few years. Sales for report for last year. pic below.
