Most old 386/486 machines have a 528MB BIOS limit so 540MB hard drives are the best you can use in them, collectors snap them up. 2GB drives are what people love for early DOS machines (Pentium 1's) because of the 2GB DOS partition limit.
50 pin SCSI HDs also sell well (used in all kinds of machines).
Geoffry a spammer or something, just copies my post word for word.
He inserted a line into your post basically..not saying he isn't a spammer or is..just saying, it appears he copied your post, added his own bit, then just pasted..heh.
Not the way I'd quote someone then add my own 2 cents but each their own. Unless of course you edited yours removed the the line ( )'s and then reposted.
Spammers..Spam forums, email, etc. Don't think they really go around looking for answers to steal and then repost..sounds more trollish then spammerish, or just lazy.
Oh and good job on the sale of that HD, anytime you get more then scrap value is a good thing.
Sirscrapalot - Playing CSI on the forums..lol
The guy has made 3 posts where he word for word copies what somebody else posted (in the same thread) then adds gibberish to it. Seems weird to me, like a bot is adding post count to be able to do something later on (spam).
