    E-bay Tools

For some reason, finding anything through E-bay is worse than finding a needle in a hay stack. Therefore, here are some links that I have always had trouble finding. Let's make this a great tool for finding those great E-bay links that our sellers need.

Turbo Lister This is a listing tool, where you can work on and manage listings on your computer. You can work all week putting together sales and launch them all at the same time if you want, like I do. Save templates, bring up and old sale that is similar and just swap the pictures and a couple of key words, etc.

Fee illustrator This link gives you a calculator that allows you to punch in your typical selling information to help you determine if an E-bay store is right for you.

E-bay seller's forum I have found some good information here from people who may have ran into the same problem as you have.

I use this in all my listings so my buyers can see at a glance everything I'm selling.
    It's called Froo cross sell.

Interesting. Does it work with turbo lister? or is it a stand alone item?

I can't stand turbo lister. Maybe it has changed but just does not do enough for me.

Short money, has everything you need PLUS some more
I like to schedule my listings to start on Sunday night. InkFrog does that for FREE where ebay charges extra

    I use the Business plan @ $14.95 a month

I have used auctiva.com for a few years now. It is $10 month, but it is something I need. I build all me auctions ahead of time and post in the evenings. It holds all my photos and has a lot of templates for a good format look.

It is a bit clumsey at times but does get the job done. I have over 70 auctions going right now.

    A tip for a buyers:

I have found a free web service for searching all of ebay locales at once:
    geo-ship.com

It is better then the official ebay search

Besides this it has many useful search filter that the official ebay.com does not have.
Also there is an option to get notifications for your saved searches

    Highly recommended ebay search!!!

    HEY Mechanic

I owe you a big thank you for the tip on this ebay tool....ive been ebaying for 7 or 8 months...every week it seems i get a little more successful...i have heard of some of the tools before, but ive never tried them ...i decided to try this froo cross out after reading this post and doing some research...i have had good results from it....

since i have started using it , im getting a lot more buyers that are buying 2 and 3 of my items at the same time. i have had multiple sales to the same person in the past but only a couple times....this also got me thinking that maybe i should try and list as many of the same type of items as i possibly could..

i reckon i should have always been doing it that way, but honestly i had never gave the idea much thought....anyhow i just wanted to thank you very much for the tip about this little app or tool or whatever the heck it is....it has really helped my little ebay thing out...so thank you very much

Cough terapeak cough cough Amazon Stats | eBay Marketplace Research | eBay Analysis & Statistics

Just saying...great market research tool, look into it if you don't know about it. An their free one Mysales.

It works with eBay, Amazon, an another place, whose name escapes me with a M.

20 something a month, or 200 for the year. When I would use it with my site when I ran my own website an did sales, I would use it check the market for hot items, see what was selling an wasn't. It will let you track sellers if you want, an see what their items are fetching and if they sell, it's really got a lot of features that could save you a butt load of time.

Take a shot with it, worse happens you pay the monthly fee, don't like it an go back to using sold/completed listings or whatever your using now.

An no, I'm not employed by them, or any away associated with them other then a past customer who happily paid the 200 bucks a year, an loved it.

Hope it helps someone, it's not exclusive to eBay but it's a **** fine tool for it, an has been around for years. Works with all the eBays, an the car site if I recall. Just might be what some folks need to get going on there, but don't know much about market research.

I may not be the biggest fan of eBay, but..I like to see folks succeed there.

Edit: just looked at the site, an see they have a mobile app now. Not sure if there is a fee for it, but yet another tool in ya'lls selling toolbox.

Sirscrapalot - I've told you before..If I like something, I share it. If I don't...I do the same.

I know this hasnt been the most active thread but some of the sites i use for ebay.....

http://payments.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAP...ulator&guest=1 - shipping calculator so you can get an idea how much the item may cost to ship. Or if you do free shipping you can decide how much you will need to charge

eBay and PayPal Fee Calculator - This site allows you to input the particulars of your listings and it will tell you what your paypal and ebay fees will be.

Hope these sites can help a few of you guys.

I have +7000 items on hand (Part2Go) I use SixBit for inventory managment, listing and shipping managment. excellent application it is not a web service so you can work offline and then submit at night.

Also I use CampaignGo for sales and markdown managment (they help me to filter old stock which did not sell and put it on a sale) and they have very nice best offer advising aplication.

I used Creazylisting for listing editing and Terapeak for marketplace watching.

Please contact me if you have any questions

SixBit does charge. I believe that it's a software program that you install (Like Word or Firefox), but I'm not certain.

Of course, if you have 7,000 items in inventory, it's probably well worth the price. I can't image that!
