So I have an E Bay auction up right now for a Hudson X-Pert 3 gallon Sprayer. Got an email a few minutes ago and the prospective buyer requesting either DHL or UPS for delivery, which the buyer is responsible for custom taxes/import fees and such . Which I have no issue, but the buyer is in Uganda, Africa and has 0 feedback score. My gut is telling me to pass, due to to fraud and such. How would buyer protection work in this case? Or does anyone have experience with this? Opinions? Concerns?

Our resident ebay experts will chime in I'm sure, but I'll just say..when in doubt, go with your gut feeling.
That's my rule, an it works well for me. Your mileage may vary.

Here is how I set up my auctions; Slows down a lot of problems.
" Excluded shipping locations,
Exclude these locations: Africa, Asia, Central America and Caribbean, Europe, Middle East, North America, Oceania, Southeast Asia, South America, Alaska/Hawaii, US Protectorates, APO/FPO"
"Buyer requirements,
Block buyers who:
Have received 2 unpaid item strike(s) within 1 month(s)
Have a primary shipping address in countries that I don't ship to
Have 4 policy violation report(s) within 1 month(s)
Have a feedback score equal to or lower than -1"

Last I checked, the US was part of "North America". So I guess he ONLY ships to Antarctica!!
Now if you'll excuse me, I have to go back to renovating my igloo and building a fence to keep the polar bears offa my ice flow.

I just showed how I list em to avoid any/or most problems.
I sell all over the US, and I don't have to hassle with Canadian Customs.
And I don't have to worry about someone's Nigerian uncle trying to buy one of my auctions.
