Did you see this?
Nucomm / RF Central MM200 Multi-Rate Modem (Nucomm)
If not hope it helps, if so...I'll keep digging.
edit: Link above is to the modem. Maybe this one, looks similar in the picture. It's a bit small for me to be totally sure though.

Ignore my deleted post, it was just saying the same as this edit.
2nd Edit: Product guide to Nucomm Products, receivers listed in the pdf. Maybe that help.

If I'd take a wager i'd say something to do with antenna signal stability, but not really sure. Dug up a couple of websites for ya.
Nucomm / RF Central NuLinx (Nucomm)

Anyone??
I'm sorry, but you've stumped me too. I'd say that it probably has something to do with antennas- maybe as a bridge???
As for value, I have no clue. Do these need to be reset for data on them? I don't normally advocate this, but if you could look at the data, maybe you could get a hint???
I'm not going to be much help on this one. I'll put on the Dunce hat.
matador: "What the heck have you found?"

With no research and only a brief scan on this thread I expect it may be a microwave receiver used by the referenced tv station. If you have seen the tv trucks with the dish on an extendable mast then this may be the receiver back at the station. If might also be used as a receiver for satilite communications again to receive transmissions from on site moble vehicles. Mike

Now go beat the copper out of something, Miked
I have not done the research but I doubt there is much value in them. Its still worth a good look around at the used sites and see if anyone is selling them. If they are what I expect there may not be alot of value in the board. Why? its a receive only device. Think of it as similar to a Directv receiver box. On the Directv receiver boxes I remove the excess steel and expect it to be a mid to high range board(below small socket mobo).
As far as knowledge I gained most of it here on the forum. I did show up with years of working on helos in the Marine Corps. I was educated in avionics, which is communication, navigation and electrical power and control for the helos. Also I hold an Extra Class ham radio license, KE4ILG. So I did bring some knowledge and interest to the fight but I commend those who share their ewaste and ebay knowledge here on the forum.
An additional thought on reselling this item. If it is what I hve suggested a microwave receiver used by a tv station then the market is extremely small. I doubt even the poorest tv station is willing to purchase a used receiver. But this is a very small possible market. Hobbist including ham radio operators who might want to experiment with this receiver.
I would suggest you figure out which flat rate USPS box it fits in, how much you wish you could get for it, add in postage, ebay and paypal expenses and list it for that amount. Make certain to use key words in your listing so it will be found in a search. I certainly would include amateur radio, ham radio, experimental, etc, in my listing and even just add them at the bottom of my description. I would pui it on a 10 day listing with three auto relist(an option that comes up automaticly). Sorry for the long winded comment but I'm still drinking coffee. Mike

thanks for your knowledge and insight I figured the market may be small
I say If it doesn't sell follow around news vans and see if you can pick up there bloopers.
I found on place that was renting this equipment they may have an interest in it or look for refurbishers too. I wouldn't expect more than 6-8% on retail from them though.
