Now that the ebay issue is out of the way(said my limit was up when it wasn't), I present some items for sale. Can only do a max of 5 listings at a time/per month as the account is a business account and has no name under it. I'll probably link more when I'm allowed to sell more, so here we go...

I don't see anyone buying that controller , shipping is higher than the item is worth . Imho .

I've found that most won't bid till it gets down to one or two days, but yeah- I'll probably lower the shipping. I was trying to encourage multiple items in a box(might do a random flat rate box of items).

I just searched ebay for 5 seconds and found that fan brand new in the box for $2. I wouldn't buy a random one sitting on a desk not knowing how used it is.
Audio header and the splitter are for sale at walmart for under $2
couldn't see anyone buying the joystick. Usually people buy new controllers, definitely for price.

Difference between you and me. I was trying to promote combining items, but this obviously isn't working. I know for a fact that walmart doesn't sell those audio headers because I pulled em off a 5-disc cd player. Radio Shack doesn't sell em either. Splitters at the walmart near me are $10. Also, that switch doesn't have to be used for an Xbox controller but I guess I think out of the box when it comes to what a switch can and can't be use for. Metalbestos pointed out the flaws with my plan which is fine becuase it was done in a professional way. To maximise my use of ebay I think I'm going to pull and toss em into a random lot.Originally Posted by DevinThaScrapper

I like the idea of combining shipping on multiple auction wins . A lot of times on older video game stuff it's best to sell it as a lot . Saves the buyer on shipping and most of the time the people buying video game lots are trying to start or complete a collection .
When I buy items on eBay , I try to buy a lot , it usually is more cost effective and I don't have to pay shipping on multiple auctions.

Been selling ebay since 1999 or so with an 8000 feedback rating. I try to always start and end my auctions on Saturday, I've just found it seems to be the best day for the last minute bidding. Lots of smaller like items will be more likely to sell than the individual pieces listed alone. Keep your lots to items that are associated in some way, selling 5 similar items for $20 to one buyer is much easier than selling 3 to different buyers for $5 each and having to relist the others. Know your target buyer. Are you selling components that a repair person or refiner wants? Then they are most likely going to be looking for bulk "lots" unless they need one particular piece. As always, your available time to list, pack and ship may dictate whether that strategy works for you. Shipping fees do make a difference in buyer perception and the lower the cost of the item, the less shipping someone will be willing to pay for it. Good pictures will help a lot. Know what you are selling and search sold items whenever you aren't sure. I recently got a big box of higher end computer video game controllers at a pick up. I almost listed a Logitech steering wheel/shifter/pedal set for a $30 Buy it now, but thankfully I checked sold auctions first. The last few similar used sets had ended in the $170-200 range. Opps, changed that listing to an auction with a reserve in a heartbeat. The occasional non-paying bidder is part of the game, but Ebay keeps that to a minimum. It's a love hate relationship at times, like when they reversed a payment on an item I shipped to Italy because the buyer said they didn't get it, but then reversed it back to me when I obtained proof of delivery. I have my issues with Ebay, because I remember when they treated their sellers like gold, but in the end there is no other place like it to sell random stuff all over the world.

I did and the only copper I found were two leads and some plating. Back plate's either stainless or some kind of polished metal. Feels too heavy to be aluminum.
To everyone else, it won't let me edit the first post to remove the last two links as they don't work anymore. but I've taken Metalbestos' and ItAllAddsUp's advice and grouped items together. Haven't touched Ebay in over a year so I'm out of touch in how to handle it.

The relays would be more useful to a buyer with the terminal screws....its a pita if they have to figure out whether they are metric or not and find screws to fit.
Just a thought to improve the sales appeal of the item.

Woot! Sold the Crydom A1225 solid state relay! The random parts box didn't sell and neither did the lot of 6 TA2425 relays(didn't think they would), and it looks like I'll be relisting the lot of 2 Nichicon FZ5A Capacitors. Also adding two new auctions to the mix.
