lead weights

At a yardsale last Saturday I bought five 3lb divers weights. I might get $2 a pound on ebay but then pay the fees and do the shipping.

Or, i could just take in to my recycler and see what he pays.

anybody sell lead recently? what did they pay?

Cyberdan or dollardan I have over 20 lbs. of lead, have never sold any yet, my yard told me a couple of weeks ago $.40 a Lb. Haven't sold any until I check with another yard.

I got $.40 a pound end of December

I thought there was good money to be made by selling it to guys who cast their own bullets. Pretty sure there's a thread or two on SMF about that, and was pretty sure that it is well over a buck a pound...

ya I would say ebay with patience but I guess its one thing I never really get a lot of I have yet to fill the bucket I have so I am sure it will be good weight when I do but then prices will be low lol

Yeah it isn't really worth messing with.I get $0.70-0.85 per lbs as i just leave them on the wheels lol

If they are diving weights, why not sell them to a scuba diver?

Have heard those counter weights can range from 40 lbs up to a thousand pounds depending on the size of the boat. If its too large to remove in one lump, use a chain saw, ruins the chain but it works, wear safety glasses.
