you never know what might get flagged...

I found a military NBC protective suit at a local thrift store this weekend and thought it was probably worth a shot on ebay. I usually offer international sales except legal wildlife items because of the hassle and cost with getting an export license from the USF&WS. So, I was surprised when ebay wouldn't let me finish my listing because military NBC suits fall under the same conditions as "munitions" under some U.S. law and can't be sold abroad. Only after ditching international sales did they let me finish the listing. I guess aspiring "weapons of mass destruction" countries have agents prowling U.S. thrift store buying up all the old NBC suits they can find (shocked smiley face!). Probably easier just to buy old NBC suits from the Russians...

Nice find. Some Dooms-Day preper will scarf that up no problem. Good luck

there are some computer items that cannot be sold to certain countries...I found that out when I signed up with a computer equipment distributor to fulfill my online store. Cisco and other items were on the list.

that is really spooky as NBC suits have a very finite shelf life as protective clothing, 120 days out of the plastic bag, and are as uncomfortable as hell as anything but outerwear

I'm sure you would sledge !!!

As a trapper, I like fur and iys not found everyday in the thrift shops. Women's winter coats trimmed with fur generally do well, but they're still a crap shoot. My gambling for the winter...
