Ebay global shipping now passing shipments to Canada over to couriers who do not ship to PO box's, those of us living rural are screwed as is the seller with undeliverable goods.

    I won't ship international anymore.
Don't care if it "limits my buyers"

I sell and ship to the US only anymore.

Hate to pile to a 5 page thread, but I have had the same problem. I would ship to addresses in this one town, and when the item arrived it was always broken. These items were only shipped about 100mi from my house. I have had the same items go to Puerto Rico, New York, & Florida and they arrive fine. I started keeping track of the returns, and I found that 3 of them were from what I suspected to be the same buyer; he was using 3 different profiles. I block that buyer each time he changes profiles. Now I just look out for shipping to certain address in Fremont, CA and bad grammar in the instructions from the buyer, and I know I have my guy. The worst part is, just like the rest of you, Ebay always sides with him. A few times I have accepted the return, and the parts work fine; ebay still refunds them. In some cases he will wait till the 29th day and start the return. it seems like a lot of work for a 12$ hard drive, but I guess that's what he does. Funny though, that same effort devoted to anything else would make at least minimum wage

Just had a successful case on my end as the seller.

I sold a TV video main board for "parts or not working" and when the customer (who is supposed to be a tv repairman) got the part, it didn't work so he started a return. Instead of arguing after trying to write the customer, I simply called Ebay first about it and they sided with me because I listed it as not working in the title and in the ad.

Guess not every buyer gets what he wants on Ebay.

It's a very good coincidence that I saw this. I was concerned with a transaction I almost made very similar to yours. Bad experience but thanks for sharing this here.

I'm noticing that ebay is making a conscious effort to get more new sellers by making selling easier. It could be unrelated, but I'm starting to wonder if word is getting out about how ebay treats their sellers. For those continuing to sell on ebay just think about the fact that every time they release "sweeping changes" your completion may begin to wonder if selling on ebay is for them. Less competition means more business...and possibly more scammers, but let's focus on one little victory at a time.
