eproms, flat packs, ic chips etc

I looked this up on the archives but there is some contridictory info there. need clarification. from e buyers.

    1. are all ic chips the same grade no mater what grade board the came from or what size they are ?

    2. the little brass and plastic thingies attached to the heat sinks, are they the same price as ic chips ?

    3. the little flat square (flat packs) are they all the same price no matter what size, and what is the difference between the ones with gold slash in the corners and the ones that are plain.

I have found a mschine that skims boards like a champ more on it after a little more expermentation.

I'm not a buyer so I'll let them answer questions #1 & #3, but I can tell you that the little thingies attached to the heat sinks are made of copper, not brass. They will bring you #2 copper price at the yard. It don't know of an escrap buyer who wants them. Do you?

Also, I'm eager to hear more about the machine you found. Who makes it? How much does it cost?

The transistors are #2 copper? Is that with or without the plastic?

Time to start a new bucket. Got so many buckets now I feel like the Grand Prize Game champion (If you are younger than 50 you probably don't understand)

My yard takes them with the plastic as #2 copper, but, as you know, every yard is different.

You are referring, I belive to the Bozo Circus Grand Prize Game, yes? I'm under 50 but not by much.

My yard takes them as copper bearing so they go into my copper bearing bucket. I've never tried putting them into just my #2 bucket.
