I would think that it is used as an option for the person selling the phones. Depending on the amount one has and if it's worth it for them to take out the boards or not. As for me I don't come across a lot of phones so when I get 10# I will prob ship them whole.Quote:

just sell them whole yea around 6 is normal price too much work for a possible loss garbage to scrap comparison remember to remove the batteries for top dollar.
What about the processors that are stuck on the boards? Anyone know?
One option is to leave them on and place them in a seperate pile from your other boards. Once you get a little weight approach the buyers for what they are willing to pay per # for them. Many times you can get double the normal motherboard price per pround.Quote:

1. high grade mobo---low grade telecom
2. high grade--buyer might want the battery removed
3. med grade or very low grade motherboard
4. med grade if the pins are female -- low grade motherboard if the pins are male.
5. med/ low grade its up to the buyer
6. med grade remove plastic
7. med grade remove excess plastic and steel or else its low gradish.

On #1 yes its depending on your buyer. ask them first before you ship. On the male/ female part is. If you see a bunch of gold boners its male if there's nothing but dark holes with some shiny at the end you got female. sry could help myself.

Can anyone tell me if the stickers on the PC cases (the ones with the serial numbers for the operating systems) are worth money to buyers?
I ask, because I have a guy in FL who buys software from me, and the serial number stickers. The price for the software, depends on what you got, but the stickers are $4 a piece.
He pays via paypal and includes the shipping. Just seeing if he is the only buyer for them, or if their might be more.
I have seen these on Ebay......seems legitimate to me and do you have the guys info I have thrown 100's of these away

I'm not sure if it's actually legal through Microsoft's eyes. Those COA labels have an OS code series that was given to the manufacturer (Dell, HP, etc) and is supposed to stay with that OS Version/Computer combo. Now on a personal level of morality and/or ethics, if that computer breaks down or is "retired" to be shredded or not used anymore, that COA should be able to get used on another computer since you're not duplicating the COA license. Not saying that this is how M$ intended it to work, but it's a legal, individual OS code that should NOT be shredded with the computer!

The serial numbers only work with that version of windows. For instance, you cannot use a windows 7 serial with a windows vista, etc. as I am sure you know.Quote:

No it is illegal to sell a OEM serial key from the side of a computer the key is bound to the physical hardware. If you are caught it's jail time + usually 2k-25k fine per offense depending on microsofts mood.Quote:
