I'm not sure if it's actually legal through Microsoft's eyes. Those COA labels have an OS code series that was given to the manufacturer (Dell, HP, etc) and is supposed to stay with that OS Version/Computer combo. Now on a personal level of morality and/or ethics, if that computer breaks down or is "retired" to be shredded or not used anymore, that COA should be able to get used on another computer since you're not duplicating the COA license. Not saying that this is how M$ intended it to work, but it's a legal, individual OS code that should NOT be shredded with the computer!
