I would think that it is used as an option for the person selling the phones. Depending on the amount one has and if it's worth it for them to take out the boards or not. As for me I don't come across a lot of phones so when I get 10# I will prob ship them whole.

I would also think that you have to figure out how many boards will get you a pound and how long it takes you to break them down to get that pound. I would rather break down towers and get multiple items to sell rather than breakdown a cellphone just for the boards. Maybe I am wrong but I think the price for a whole cell compared to just the board probably relates to the cost to the buyer to pay an employee to open the cells to get to the boards. I also foresee a board grading in the near future just like that of computer mobos. Especially since there are many smart phone brands and sizes. Is an apple 16gig iphone 4s board going to be priced the same as one that is a first generation and only 8gig? I say take the $6 or so a pound and let the buyers figure that one out with the refinery..jmo.

2. high grade--buyer might want the battery removed
3. med grade or very low grade motherboard
4. med grade if the pins are female -- low grade motherboard if the pins are male.

6. med grade remove plastic

Thanks for the info. For number one, where you meaning that it could be one or the other?

Also, how do you determine if the gold fingers are male or female.

As far as the battery and plastic goes, I do plan to remove it all. Just waiting till I get ready for shipping it out is all.

On #1 yes its depending on your buyer. ask them first before you ship. On the male/ female part is. If you see a bunch of gold boners its male if there's nothing but dark holes with some shiny at the end you got female. sry could help myself.

Can anyone tell me if the stickers on the PC cases (the ones with the serial numbers for the operating systems) are worth money to buyers?

I ask, because I have a guy in FL who buys software from me, and the serial number stickers. The price for the software, depends on what you got, but the stickers are $4 a piece.

He pays via paypal and includes the shipping. Just seeing if he is the only buyer for them, or if their might be more.

I have seen these on Ebay......seems legitimate to me and do you have the guys info I have thrown 100's of these away

Yeah search ebay for COA I think there are a bunch on there....The one's I saw were going about a buck each

Both. He purchases the software, provided it comes with the serial numbers that the software needs to run.

He also purchases the stickers. The ones on the PCs that you enter in, when your installing windows.

I dont know what you inserted into the search criteria, but I only got like 3 or 4 hits. However, they sold for a lot more than $1 a piece.

A quick $4 is better than the way weight, and paypal feels and ebay fees, but I saw one selling for over $40. Crazy

No it is illegal to sell a OEM serial key from the side of a computer the key is bound to the physical hardware. If you are caught it's jail time + usually 2k-25k fine per offense depending on microsofts mood.
