So I have tried to explain everything that you are all saying here on this particular post. We are a secondary refiner, we do charge per lot, for the assay, for the transportation, and we do take a percentage of the metals after refining. The refiner will also charge a fee for their refining costs. For all of those who think that a refiner can give you a number out of ars for 2,000lbs of boards you are sadly mistaken. There is no way for someone to tell you what you will get for your boards no matter if they are all one kind of board. One will always come out different than the other not by much but it will depending on how clean that board is if there is excess plastics in the boards etc. I am more than willing to allow anyone to see my plant. I just gave 4 tours last week on potential customers that wanted to refine their lots and gained the business. We run a 200,000sq ft. facility in Mesquite. I know that I am promoting my business here but it seems that anyone who has seen my post on seller and buyers likes my prices not my refining answers. Send me half of your lot and send the other half to the other guy and see where you come out. That is the best recommendation I can give. Everyone wants to know how much of this and how much of that will get out of it when at the end of the day it’s the bottom line that matters and it’s the $$$$$.
