    Radar units from commercial boats

I bought some boat radar units from the state auction. The cost was low but the travel it took made it not a profitable proposition. I am posting some photo's so other scrapers who run across these might consider picking them up. Personaly I would not pay for one but would take them for free.

These old units contain a crt type tube and the shell is mostly Al. So there are several pounds of Al in each unit. The good news is there was one to three high quality boards in all.

Most looked like this one, one was very old and one was much larger, total number was 13.

Partial disassembly of one of the units.

Here's what the boards from one unit that contained three boards. Notice the white ic.

I hope this is informative, Mike.
