    Are Green Fiber Xeon CPUs

Are Green Fiber Xeon CPUs the same as Green Fiber CPUs? Nothing special about them other than just weight? They weigh like 2X more than say a Pentium4 green fiber. Have a chance to buy 100# of mixed Green Fiber boards. 25% are Xeon. Just wondering what you guys think...

    Thanks!

they are the same i feel, if anything like the ones i pulled recently then you can see the pins are only coating the bottom part instead of the whole leg.

Thanks Parrot, that is what I thought...green fiber metal top. they are bigger and heavier, but nothing looks special. By the way...I never heard of a Xion? Also, my offer for them wasn't accepted. They are going to try selling them on ebay. 100# of green fiber metal cap CPUs.

Thanks, Dune! I will look at the pins tomorrow. The seller of these chips said they were worth $18/lb. Thanks to this forum and guys like you, and posted pricing, I knew better than to listen to the seller.

I think I spotted those on ebay. It seems as everything sells for way more than I can afford to buy and resell.
