    CPUs

I saw the post about what RAM weighs and how many sticks in a lb. I thought I would post up some CPU weights. Hopefully someone gets some use out of this. All were weighed on a postal scale, and all weights are approximate. I understand things vary, but it should give a real close idea.

    CPUs
    Slot Processors - 1.4 oz each......Approx. 11 in lb.
    Pentium 4 - .7 oz each......Approx. 23 in lb.
    Green fiber - .3 oz each.....Approx. 53 in lb.
    Black fiber - .7 oz each.....Approx. 23 in lb.
    386 gold cap - .5 oz each.....Approx 32 in lb.
    486 gold cap - .8 oz each.....Approx 20 in lb.
    Pentium double gold cap(small) - 1.6 oz each....Approx 10 in lb.
    Pentium double gold cap(large) - 2.1 oz each....Approx 8 in lb.
    Pentium 1 ceramic - 1 oz each....Approx 16 in lb.
    AMD ceramic - .6 oz each......Approx 27 in lb.
    AMD ceramic w/alum. backing - .7 oz each.......Approx 23 in lb.
Cyrix MII gold cap - 1.5 oz each....Approx 11 in lb.
    DLP - .8 oz each.....Approx 20 in lb.

These are just the ones I personally have and weighed. Feel free to add to the list if you have others. Adam
