I have looked at these for some time. Standard cables are best sold in bulk lots. Even then, it may not be worth it. You need to base it on the price you can get from scrap vs. the price it costs to sell them. Some are worth it, some are not, but typically bulk is the only way to go.

I have a large lot of DVI to VGA connectors that I got recently. They sell once in a while on ebay for a few dollars with free shipping. Not worth the effort in my opinion. I am listing them in lots of 50 starting at 19.99 plus $11 priority shipping. The last lot brought around $24 I think. That is worth the time and effort of making a listing in my opinion. Especially since I have 6 more lots of those and don't have to spend any more time taking pictures and making a listing. I can now just relaunch the same auction from my turbo lister. If you do not use turbo lister you are not doing e-bay right.

I also include in the listing title, "dealers special, or dealers lot" trying to attract the attention of those that will take them and sell at a flea market for a few dollars each.

Here is a lnk to the last lot that I sold of them. DVI Male to VGA Female Adaptor Lot of 50 Dealer Lot | eBay

I can't say it enough. Look at completed sales to get an idea of how much you can get for an item. Then determine whether or not it is worth your time taking pictures and writing up a description of the item and giving E-bay their fair share of the deal. After looking up an item, add the word "lot" into the search and see how much they go for in larger quantities.

Then hold strong. The first time I listed the above lot at 19.99 it did not sell. I relisted it at the same price and it sold for higher with a couple of bidders.

It all depends on the time you want to spend vs. what your time is worth.

Hope this helps a little bit.
