Attached is a picture of a Western Digital drive
The top of the picture shows the jumper settings
The bottom of the picture shows the harddrive with a white Jumper to see it easyer.
As you can see this jumper is on Slave not what you want. You would either want no jumper (Single or master) or on the last two pins (Cable select)

The little white thing is a jumper just pull it off and either move it or leave it off. They are usally black but white showed up better in the picture.

I will check tomorrow when I get back home. Thanks a lot for the advice. Hopefully that will solve the issue, so I can perhaps get them sold as well.

If your using a drive dock or one of those usb cables the jumper doesnt matter.
I have a usb cable and I had a couple that did not work when set to slave.

I dont remember having that issue with the USB cable. Since I went to drive docks I havnt had an issue with jumpers.
