So I got this board in a pickup about a week ago, it was mixed in with a bunch of normal socket 7s. My client said it came from a guy who loved vintage electronics. I've googled like crazy trying to figure out what the heck this came out of, and if the surface is actually gold plated. The plating is quite thick, and still shows gold when I scratch it, not pink or coppery. Exact same shade of yellow as the fingers. I can't find it right now but I have some boards that I know for a fact have similar plating that is copper, and it's definitely different. The back appears to be hand soldered with silver(?), but it could just be how the manufacturing equipment made them back then? "Then" being one of the main things I want to know, what era it came from. Sorry about quality, the lightning isnt so great in my room atm and housemates are sleeping, if there's interest maybe tomorrow I'll take some better shots in the sunlight.
