Finding Quality CPUs in Older Laptops

I will be listing some older 90s laptops for parts on ebay this week. But, before I do, should I check to see what types of cpus are in them? Anyone every found any gold-cap cpus in laptops?

They are out there, I have found some good CPU's in laptops, but they have to be OLD. Anything after the mid 90's are all fiber or soldered to the board. It is very hit or miss. If it is a 20 pound monster, it probably has something good in there.

I've broken down some Toshiba laptops and cpus were soldered on but they had gold cap processor coolers. A PIA to break down not much weight on the boards and allot of leftovers. Models with old Pentium processors

I recently scrapped an old Toshiba laptop, and it had a nice ceramic 386 in it. This thing was super old, maybe late 80's and weighed 20+ pounds. It also had a nice big motherboard. Any laptop 20 years or newer, and you won't find any good CPU's for sure.
