I am confused you buy the power supply boards for .45# or the whole power supply at .45#?

Do you pay for shipping too? Aren't they considered low grade brown boards? Did I fall asleep at the switch again?

Shipping would come out of final payout, and no they are power boards. Best way to ship them is save up a few pallets worth of stuff then get shipping down to .10 a lb and you are golden.

well, Not tring to be rude or anything.. but it still not kosher.. there a reason why landfill can't take it.. lead for the major reason.. it going to rain in that scrap yard. that water gotta go somewhere. and it will find its way to the street to the creek and into the river... it just not a good idea all the way round.. best to take it to the recycler and let them deal with it, I only take My stuff to R2 certified recycler.. and there a reason behind that.. they are under strict rules... rules to protect the enviroment and the people.. One or two.. is still not acceptable.. thats is my 2 cent opion. Heck, ship it to me and I'll pay you for them. leave them intact. thanks.

bnb Im proud to say all my material is safely stored and processed indoors.

Brass- If you lived in florida you would make such a killing off your current ewaste it isnt funny. I have to use my noodle alot to figure out logistics but other then that its turn and burn as fast as I can. were looking at around 1000lbs a week of boards and constantly growing whenever we go out the door. Did i mention we only do pickups 1 day a week>? we didnt go out last weekend and we finally managed to get everything boxed up. FINALLY!! and yet i keep finding stuff scattered through out the work shop. Plus i have all my people doing direct drop offs to my buyer, every person couldnt be happyer how easy everything has become for them. Not big enough yet to leave the state but working on it as fast as i can. :-) happy hunting folks.

Yup I been scrapping for 1 year officially now. Never thought i would be full time ewaste but danm am i happy that i dont dumpster dive or curb shop unless we are waiting for a client to get to the pickup location. Last time the guy had us waiting for 30 minutes and we half filled the truck with goodies before he got there.

Hey guys, the problem is that i don't have a e-waste recyclers around me. the only way to sell something here is to ship it out or sell it to a metal yard. but dunemaul, if i strip the power supply down to the board do you still want the wires on and the boards fully loaded right?

I'll buy them whole for .30#. You can take them apart, the board is called a power board .40#, some have transformers .32#, the fan is an electric motor .32#, wires are 1.00# and the tin .09# I have never seen a yard in florida that takes any kind of electronics in the shred pile, but that dosn't mean there arn't any.

I have to make a correction to the post above. That post says that I buy power boards, I meant to say I sell my power boards for the above prices. Please do not send me your boards. I break down all my power suplies, takes about 2 minutes, take the board out then the fan then I get the prices I stated above.

Anything OEM from 200w on up can be sold at wayy more than scrap on Ebay. You have to look at volume and be the cheapest guy out there but someone usually picks it up. The rest I sell to my buyer for over scrap by far.

dude. VT is like this big ( ) i'm sure you could drive a hour and cross a state line and find a yard that is willing to take them as CBM around 0.30# without pigtails (wires attached). they stack quite nicely in banana boxes which don't take up much floor space and fit 6 on a pallet if you have a lot of them. it's just going to take some internet research and a few phone calls. and then plan a trip with the wife/girlfriend so you can multi task and plan a picnic / dinner somewhere nice on the way back and it will be a good day.
