Laptop battery tester?

Anyone know of a good laptop battery tester? I see ones on ebay but they look so cheap.

But correct me if I'm wrong, that wont tell you if battery is not going to hold a charge for awhile

yeah i just saw the battery testers on ebay. but its not really a good investment most of the laptops you are gonna get are gonna have bad battery's you'll be lucky to get one that still holds 75% of its charge. but anyways heres a link on with the multimeter

check the bios settings on the laptop, some have a recalibration tool. It's not often, but you might get lucky

Yep, I was going to say this as well Bear

If the computer doesn't power on after charging the battery remove the battery and try powering it on with a power adaptor this should tell you if the battery is shot.
