If you enjoy your freedom, thank a vet.
I understand, with the CRT's I usually take them into best buy, as of lately I was collecting 40-50 tvs. I was overwhelmed by how much I had laying around, and I couldn't keep wasting the gas it takes to drive them to best buy to send them out. Out of the 40-50 I did at least send 40 to best buy, and the rest happened to end up at the curb. I'm not responsible for the careless mistakes the city employees make, I was told that the city recycles TV's anyway.
On a side note I will check into goodwill as well.
I have seen an video on youtube or best buys website on how they dispose of CRTs, what irritates me is that when I show up to best buy they give me a stupid guilt trip on how it costs them money to send it to there recycling facility. The other day I dropped off 6 TV's LOL, tomorrow I will be dropping off 3... I know how nasty they are, and am surprised that the city employee's were not disposing of them properly. The only reason I decided to put them at the curb was because I guy I know at best buy said the city recycles them... I think he lied to me, what a moron...anyway...I will look for that video and post it.
This how they do it:
