ummm might I inquire as to why you think our neighboring space visitors left an old PCB in a machine for you to find ... hahahaha
Very interesting theories.......I don't think I have ever found a board stamped made in the USA....LOL
LOL. Not to be a smart***. However, Do we in the USA make any thing any more
It was a very old machine.......I guess we will never know as I have already packed it away in another package.....LOL
There are companies in the USA that make circuit boards, just becuase it does not say it's made in the USA doesn't mean that it wasn't made in the USA. Yes there are alot of things made in the USA. Why do you need to know where the board was made, what diffrance dose it make?
I think the joking part of this thread got takin all out of context.
Yeah I have a weird sense of humor sometimes
My sense of humor is a little strange sometimes.........The whole thread was supposed to be a joke
Depends on the buyer but my buyer would buy that as high grade. The price of the board is not determend on where the board is made it's the amount of pm's on the board, the newer ones have less gold. The best thing to do is look for a date, if it's made before 2000 it should be worth more than one made after 2000. I'm not an expert by any means but that's how I understand it, if I wrong I'm sure someone will correct me.
Mainframe I did recently was stamped "Built in the USA with parts built in" and they listed a bunch of countries. Some parts were built in the USA as well, the combination of standard and metric nuts kept me guessing.
