there decent throw 700 cash at him "cash in hand" i would buy it"
Don't they normally go for $3500 or $4000.00?
if it starts and runs with no leaks...yes, an easy $3500. Double stage mast means like forks go maybe 8 to 10 feet. Depends on mast height. Think of pallet racks and how high your ceiling is and measure the fork height.
If you don't buy it, I will!

just 2 cautions,
do you have a solid platform to operate in on ?
do this deal only in person, cash ? voice of experience.
"anyone who thinks scrappin is easy money ain't doin it right!"
In the old days almost every yard had a Bull Moose, you can still find them for sale at reasonable prices.
Thanks guys! Yes cash in hand deal. I do have a level ground to operate it on. He had it for sale for $1750.00 then dropped it to $1000.00. So ill probably offer 7 or 8 and see what he says.
For a $1000, I wouldn't even chisel him down. Seems like a fair price if it's in working condition. Try to run it before you buy it. Other than that, I'd be ripping my pocket off to pay the guy.
Edit: He looks like a collector too. I'd see if he would throw something in on the deal. He probably has junk batteries or car rims laying around. He could even have a big pile of scrap steel behind the shop.

I bought it for 1000. I didn't even try to talk him down. Thing was in mint condition. But he had 2 other guys coming to look at it and he was firm a 1000.
Yeah at a grand if it runs good that's the deal of the week man, nice score.
i have the smae lift clean the filters it"ll go forever
Yeah, $1000 was a great price. Surprised he didn't get offers with his original price. If I had the opportunity to buy it I would, I would if asked if he had a 2nd one. Or for the matter if I would have asked if he was selling anything else. For that great price you never know what other deals he has. Greta score!
Sweat is the cologne of success!
He was asking $1750.00, not sure what happened there. Needs it gone and we both win I guess. Now I can't wait to get it delivered Monday. Got lots of pallets full of computers to move around.
I hate those style lifts. Always get stuck.
Solid-tire forklifts are only meant for clean hard surfaces such as indoors, and are pretty much useless on anything else. One place I worked at we used in old Yale model with tiny wheels that would get stuck/just spin out in literally anything over 1/2" of snow. When you have 4-6 months of snow a year, and have to use that same forklift outside on the lot, that leads to waaaay too much snow shoveling and sweeping.
