Just made an agreement with a local computer repair guy.

I handle the sale of the ejunk he can't reuse and we split the money. He's also going to try to the sell power cords and various and sundry cables for me that I've been scrapping as insulated wire. He thinks we can do a lot better than insulated price since he rebuilds computer systems for sale and they often need those cords and cables. Sweet, huh?

Success consists of going from failure to failure without a loss of enthusiasm...... Churchill

Re-use the best recycling. Congrats on a deal that will benefit both of you. Long live capitalism. Mike.

We operate both a computer shop and a electronic scrap business. There are a lot of item that cross the lines both ways. Repurposing things always works out well for both shops. The recycling side of the business has so much volume that we are now sharing some of the stuff with computer shops in neighboring communities. In doing so we have established relationships with other shops that have proved to be more than helpful in the computer repair business. There are simply things that you come across from time to time that stumps even the best tech. To have another tech in another shop to run the problem by has been helpful to our shop more than once.

These business relationship are as important as personal relationship and often turns into a lasting and valuable friendship. We all live in the same crazy world and it is always easier to get along and work with your neighbors than to foster hate and discontent. In the end everyone will make more money and maybe even make a rack of ribs at the same time!
There may a million better places to live than Iowa, but none of them are home!
