    AMD am486 question

New to e waste, been reading around a lot trying to learn as much as I can. Through my reading, I found an article about processors, saw a line that caught my attention, stating the value of 386 and 486 processors. Anyways, found a board online for sale with a processor that reads: am486 DX2-66. Was gonna offer the guy a few bucks IF its the processor that this site says is very valuable. Am I wasting my money or is it something I should jump on? Huge noob here so I apologize if this is a stupid question.

If I didn't have bad luck, I'd have no luck at all...

So you pay by chip, type, model and just don't generalize on type for the most part?
If so, what about very high gold plate pins from OLD SCSI and serial cables from 1970's.

Yes we try to pay buy type and the majority of the time we are able to but someties you have to generalize if you get an unusual chip in. For the pin's you would need to send a picture to my email and I can get you a price on them.
