I've got some old SGI (Silicon Graphics) CRT monitors that I've had for years. SGI was a pioneer in the higher levels of computer and software design. These don't work with regular IBM compatable computers, but only with SGI MIPS computers, they won't even connect. They were used in high end graphic applications, I used to get a lot of those SGI computers from NASA, but one monitor came from USGS and the other from a very prestigious university brain center, used in a unit that scanned the brain(i even got tapes with the images on it, and it even has a remote control ; ) Extremely high dollar units. They're Big, And Heavy! Not ready to scrap them yet, but have wondered when(and IF) I do, what will be in there.
