    Thanks for the detailed breakdown on the hard drives. Are the prices still in the same ballpark today, 2 years later? We have a local recycling firm that offers $0.65/lb for hard drives with the boards and $0.25/lb without the boards. We did a quick calculation and decided it wasn't worth our time to take off the boards (we are only getting $6.70/lb for the drive boards). Are these prices consistent with the current trend or do we need to look for a better buyer?

    Ya need to find your way to our buyer/seller thread, so you can see the various prices my friend.

    HD boards are running 9.50lb or so from one of our buyers. If shipping is a concern some of our buyers get very good pricing, an then of course we have one fella who is willing to move your load by truck if you got a pallet(s).

    SaveMyServer....The whole drive pricing with and without boards seems about right for local recyclers.
