    My head hurts...**** Ebay

My head hurts and my butt is sore atm. I just picked up a MONSTER load. Paid almost 500 in cash and got another load to pick up next Saturday from same individual. I wont go into specifics, because 2 numb nuts started up buying scrap ewaste in these parts trying to beat me. But what got me in knots is it all is VINTAGE. All the talk of vintage this and that and everything on SMF made me research Ebay. Seeing all the VINTAGE ISA cards going for 25.00 bucks up to a 150. 2 lbs of ceramics going for 150. Etc.

Im really wondering how much money I lost over the years turning and burning things. Now I honestly dont want to part with it. I literally want to sit there and catalog and research every little thing to see what I missing.

**** you EBAY//////err evilbay. May you burn in HELL>..!!:>

Seriously I had to vent. My head hurts. On a serious note, I think all I have to worry about is the 100 lbs of ISA cards. They are 25 a piece and up. I was researching the brand new simms and what not I got, doesn't seem to sell. Nor does the old motherboards.

Now maybe someone can answer that for me. Why is only the ISA cards selling? Not the vintage motherboards or memory?? Maybe someone can lead me away from the brink of insanity and save only what will sell.....:>

Thanks for venting, I feel better. Now I'm off to go through a 100 lbs of cards, catalog and list lol!!!

I think that some specialized industrial PCs still use ISA so maybe that is why they are still being sold? I've read that even as late as 2008 motherboards were release with ISA slots!

Relax. E-bay is your friend no matter what others here will call it. You have the opportunity to reach tha absolute best buying audience while paying the lowest premioum for an end of price auction.

Relax, breath, spend some time looking stuff up and don't be afraid to ask if you can't find it.

We have been doing well with Ebay but it does take a lot of time. I've made 10x my money on a lot of single board industrial computers so far and am amassing quite a lot of vintage stuff. For me it is a PITA to list the stuff; always have something else taking my time. Guess I should be listing the IBM XT and AT I picked up last week instead of posting here.
Funny story about the IBM XT, we had just gotten back to the yard with a load and the office manager was having a network problem. I told the guys to open up the XT to see what CPU it had to identify it and went inside to look at the router. When I came back out they had all the cards out and were prying on the MoBo to get it loose. I freaked out like WTF are you doing????? When they couldn't see the familiar square CPU they started tearing it up looking for it. Neither one of them had seen a 8088 CPU.
I got it back together and it boots to parity check screen but hangs there and haven't spent any more time on it to figure out whats going on.
