    Im more interested in that chip. were the rest of those able to be removed or was that the only one. I see those types once and a while never had the time yet to pry one up and check.

    The small gold chip was in the small socket on the board on the left(bottom pic.) It had a small clip holding a small al heatsink on it. Once the heatsink was removed I saw GOLD! I pulled out all the other chips shown (on both boards) , and all were plain black chips with no gold at all. So I put them back in.
