One day a week will work eventually. Sooner or later, you will end up with one supplier that will get ahold of you every 6 months or so, tyhen you will end up with someone that gets ahold o you avery three months or so, then you will find end up with 3 or 4 people that will get ahold of you every 3 months or so. Keep at it and those regulars will eventually come.

As to the original question, I tell it like it is. I seperate and recycle their old equipment 100%. For me this includes dropping their old monitor at Goodwill for no charge as well and it will get recycled 100%. Keeping stuff from the landfill, is always a great statement to use. It gets to the core of it. If asked about precious metals, I will agree that there are, but not in the quantities that some would make you think. I then let them know that after buying their junk and spending the time and shipping that I basically get some beer money and a little extra for gas. Mainly, I am NOT going to get rich from their tower.

It is ALWAYS best to be upfront with people you are doing business with as well as in everything else. Even the smallest lie can come back to bite you in the butt. You can be very open about your business without giving away the secrets of how you actually end up getting money from the end product.
