WooHoo! won my first e-scrap auction!

Went to my first sealed bid auction up in Washington state and got 40 towers for 125.00. Got to preview the lots last saturday and all were complete and most of them still had their HD's. They were a mix of HP's,Gateways and others. They all had the pentium inside stickers. Did miss out on the 4 totes of assorted cables and wires. Will find out the winning bid on the wire tomorrow to see if I can compete on that next auction.

Found out that the totes of wire went for 1100.00. My guess is it went for almost a buck a pound. Think I'll stick to computers for now. It's nice that this auction happens every 3 weeks. I noticed that all the towers had their windows registration numbers on them. Most of them were windows 2000 professional.

Just found out that this was the smallest lot that they have had this year. Definitely going to be back, going to sharpen my pencil and try for some of the lots of wire too.

Kochy, these auctions are held by public organizations. Found this card in the second tower I opened up. Is this something to keep or let go as a finger card?

Really Focker? Been around that long and asking that? LOL. Is this your first step into the electronics section? Or are you just being funny?
